Pet care experience
I am experienced in taking care of my own animals, currently I have a young Lab/Pit mix and 2 cats. I have also fostered a multitude of breeds and ages with a local rescue organization since March 2020. My experience has included all ages including a surprise litter! I have fostered newborn, 7 weeks+, elderly animals, as well as those with sight/hearing impairment. I am able to provide medications with cats and dogs & even have experience with animals who need extra attention after injuries or special needs. I am attentive to the animals needs and love routine for my own fur babies. For visits, I’m trustworthy and reliable to attend to your animals needs and keep you feeling safe and comforted. I’m definitely technology savvy and would love to send reports/photos as needed to give you that burst of joy through the day knowing your animals are being thoughtfully handled! Lydia was fantastic. She house sat and kept our kitties company for 10 days while we travelled internationally, giving us peace of mind (and lots of cute photos) knowing everything was well at home. We appreciated her loving care of our fur babies and home and would definitely hire her again!
Lydia stayed at my home for a week with my 2 pups and cat. I came home and my place was cleaner than I left it! My pets had wonderful adventures and cuddle time. She followed all my instructions and took great care of my pack! I highly recommend Lydia as a pet sitter!

A typical day
We will go on walks if the weather permits, minnesota winter, right? I will also be more than willing to play in our 0.5 acre yard with them and give them all the pets they deserve.

Availability
I have weekends fully available. As for M-F, I do have a work schedule to work around but we can discuss this more as it is variable at times. I also do not bring my animals into other spaces as they are cared for by a roommate while I am away.
