Reviews
Five stars are not enough to reflect how much we appreciate Lydia! She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with our changing schedule. And best of all, she was amazing with her care and loving attitude to Pepper, my sister's 16yr old pup! Thank You Lydia!!!
Lydia provided exceptional care for our two dogs and cat. She showed genuine love and attention throughout her three night stay. Her communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos. She left our home in wonderful condition and we would definitely recommend her for anyone in need of reliable pet care.
Lydia answered all my messages as soon as she could which already set us up to be excited to meet her. We were so happy to have met her! She was great with our senior lab. I could tell our dog had been happy for hours by our dog's calmness after Lydia's care. Lydia knew what caring for a senior dog was like the moment she walked in and met our dog. She kept in regular contact with us via updates, sent us sweet pics, and left the house as if she'd never been there! We are already looking to re-book.
Lydia is wonderful. We hate leaving our furry babies but we always feel good about leaving them with her. She was a real trooper this last visit and dealt with a rain-averse dog during a rainy week and a cat who doesn't always keep everything inside the litter box. She went above and beyond to clean the house and change the linens for us before our return. Would highly recommend her to any pet parent.

I've had dogs my whole life, my last pup died over Christmas in 2021, she was almost 17. I made all of her food for the last 10 years and I miss having a dog by my side but I am not ready to get another one just yet so the next best thing is to give love to the dogs I am lucky enough to dog sit for.

Information Lydia P. would like to know about your pet
I like to know about your cat or dog's special needs: are they seniors, do they require any medication or special foods, are they barkers, how often do they poo, what is their regular exercise routine, have you had your dog since a puppy, what type of training did you do, are there any social issues I need to know about, and how do they interact with children or other dogs on walks?
A typical day
I love having a dog by my side and when I do errands I also like to take them with me if they like the adventure and a car ride. I am a big believer that humans and animals need to be outside enjoying the fresh air. I have had dogs my whole life and have always walked them at least 2x per day for at least 30-45 minutes. When time permits, and especially on the weekends, we are in the car looking for a trail, dog park, beach or a stroll someplace new. Depending on where you are located I could be a Cavallo Point, or Rodeo Beach, Sausalito Boardwalk, Civic Center pond, McGinnis fields, and trails, along the Target water walkway, and even Pt. Isabel in Richmond or the Marina Green on the weekends. I am a big walker myself and walk a couple of miles a day as my normal practice. I always have balls, a chucker, and a water bowl in the car because it's all about playtime!

I've had dogs/cats my whole life and they are part of the family. So I am used to walking/letting dogs out to pee every couple of hours. I believe that dogs should be walked at least 2x/a day rain or shine, and on the weekends that is the time for dogs to really run and stretch so typically I like to be on a trail, or headed toward the beach.
