My family has always had dogs, we also had frogs and a horse throughout my childhood. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and sheep.

Lydia is great to work with and the dogs love her! She is quick to respond and sends updates with pictures. There always seems to be a funny story for each visit! She truly cares about each individual dog and is great at meeting their unique needs. She listens to the owner's requests and preferences, as she truly wants to do what is best for the dogs. She will even research additional information as needed to be as prepared as possible. My girls vote yes for Lydia as their dog care while mom is away.

Lydia is an exceptional dog caregiver! She has given my dogs walks and loving care for many years. My geriatric dog who doesn’t do much physical activity voluntarily gets so excited when he sees his leash in her hand because he knows he is going on a walk with her. Lydia is extremely reliable and responsible for the dogs in her care. She has given medications to both of my dogs many times and she makes sure that it is the correct medication and dosage for each dog and that they receive it at the correct times of day. They enjoy being with her and I know they are being cared for as if they were her own. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver!
Lydia goes above and beyond when it comes to our pups! They love her because they always get to go on walks with her and get all the ear scratches. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone to watch their dogs. She has years of experience with dogs, which is also a huge plus.

I have a dog of my own who would come on walks (if yours is dog friendly). She's very friendly. Big dogs, boisterous dogs, pulling dogs are no problem for us. I'm happy to throw a toy, play tug of war, or do some brushing. Is your pet older or not as active? We can sit on the floor for some ear scratches and belly rubs.

Is your dog people-reactive or dog-reactive on leash? What kind of speed are they used to? I'm tall with a big dog. We tend to walk faster but can slow down for smaller/older dogs.
A typical day
Belle and I love to wander neighborhoods. We walk along the river or hike trails. Whether it's around the block or racking up miles we're down for adventure.

Availability
I'm currently working late swing (Th-Su) at an Animal Hospital so mornings are my free time for dog walks and cat-sitting. If you're flexible on when the visit is I'm happy to stop by before and/or after work.
