Hi there! My name is Lydia, and I’m a writer working from home full-time in the downtown Charleston area. I’ve grown up with medium to large sized dogs (always mutts) and have previous experience fostering dogs. I love to run and walk and be outside, especiallly around the Colonal Lake or Hampton Park areas. I have experience with English bulldogs, as my sister has had one over the past 2 years. My work schedule is flexible, so I’m available during the early morning (before 9 am), lunchtime, or early-mid afternoon. My house has a porch and medium sized background without a fence. I have a car that is dog friendly and large enough to transport a big dog if need be. Would love to have a dog if my own one day, but not quite ready ?

Lydia M. is my daughter. She was raised in a home with dogs and has always had a special connection with each and every one of them. She enjoyed walking them. She is a very responsible adult and the hardest part of her adulthood is knowing that living on her own she could not provide for a dog in the proper sense that a dog owner should. Being a dog walker or care provider would allow her to have a personal connection with dogs without the long term responsibilities.
