Experienced pet professional!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Lydia and I've been caring for animals longer than I can even remember. I've volunteered at my local animal shelter for around 5 years, I continue to foster kittens for them on occasion. I've worked at a boarding/daycare facility for around 5 years as well. I have experience following feeding and medication instructions accurately for up to 50 animals at a time. I am able to administer all kinds of medication, oral, optocal, aural, and injections. I am pet CPR certfied and I am a certified behavior consultant and CCPDT certified. Working with animals is my passion and I couldn't see myself working in any other field! While I primarily care for dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses and goats as well as small animals like birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and turtles! The only animal I am unwilling to care for are snakes that eat feeder mice.

Will always rebook with Lydia! ♥️
Our cat adored Lydia and I'm so glad we hired her to do drop ins instead of sending him to a friend's house or boarding. She was flexible, prompt, professional, and communicative. I highly recommend Lydia, wouldn't hesitate to rebook!
Lydia is great! She responds quickly to questions/concerns. She also sent us a picture everyday! We will use this service again, and we will book with Lydia as our 1st choice
Lydia did a great job. I will use again.

I have a fenced in yard and a large basement equipped with a bedroom and playpens I can set up to give you pet a safe and comfy place to stay! All supplies (Crates, play pens, blankets, dishes, litter pans, etc) are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between clients. I have animals of my own but I will be easily able to keep them separated from your pet if required. Dogs will be let out, fed, and medicated as many times a day as needed and will get lots of love and playtime. Cats will have their litterbox scooped once daily and will also be fed and medicated on whatever schedule they're used to at home. The longest your pet would be left without somebody home would be around 2 hours. I am unable to accept pets that are not fixed due to having other animals in my home. Because of this I require that all pets who stay with me have an up to date rabies vaccination. Dogs are required to be vaccinated for distemper and parvo as well. Any pets discovered to have fleas while in my care will be required to pay an additionaI clean up fee and will not be welcomed back for my in home boarding services. I require at least a weeks notice for in home boarding requests.

Information Lydia M. would like to know about your pet
I've cared for just about every breed, size, and temperament of dog in my life! Please let me know of any behavioral quirks or concerns you have about your pet. Honesty about these concerns help me take the best care of your pets and keep them safe! Please make sure feeding and medication instructions are as detailed as possible! Also ensure I have a way to contact you while you're away, an emergency contact who is local, and what vet you'd prefer in case of emergency, especially if you're traveling out of the country!
A typical day
I have a large yard where pups can play and I also live in a neighborhood without much traffic so walks will be a breeze! I have all kinds of enrichment and puzzle toys for dogs to keep their mind stimulated as well as their body!
