Most caring pet sitter you’ll find

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Lydia, I am truly dog obsessed. I have extensive knowledge in training dogs of all sizes. I’ve owned two dogs previously, a German Shepherd/lab mix and an Australian Cattle Dog. I have experience with very high energy dogs as well as smaller lower energy pups. I am a very active individual that is looking to share my love of dogs and the outdoors with pet parents in need. I typically get dogs out 6-8 times a day for 30-1.5 hr walks. I absolutely love to walk! (snow, rain, sun, I am in) I If you are looking for a responsible and knowledgeable dog sitter please consider me and you can trust your dog will be in the best hands. Your dog deserves one-on-one care when you need to travel or can’t make it back for a walk.

Lydia is an avid dog lover. She has loved them since she was a small child. She knows how to handle dogs better than anyone I know and enjoys walking them immensely. She has always taken care of the dogs of family and friends as her own family suffered allergies and couldn’t have one. I would trust her with your most cherished pet.

Lydia is one of the most dedicated people I have ever met to loving and caring for dogs. She is always enthused to meet, greet, and learn how to better treat human's best friend. For months, I have seen her in action with a various range of dog personalities and her care for their betterment is unwavering, even when on the receiving end of very difficult behavioral issues. I have seen other trust her fully with their beloved pets and would do the same after seeing her in action. There is no hesitation to recommend Lydia as one of the most responsible and loving dog caregivers I know.

Information Lydia K. would like to know about your pet

As a previous dog owner I know the importance of trust pet parents need in walkers and sitters. I am going to ask a lot of questions to make sure you and your dog will feel comfortable with me. Your dogs trigger words and things are helpful as well as what makes your dog nervous. Treat motivated or toy motivated? What is your dogs activity level?

A typical day

I am constantly mixing in fun bursts of training on walks. If you have a puller I can help with that! I am patient and like to motivate with kibble or a pups favorite toy. I like to use meal times as training sessions as well. Basic commands will be asked of any dog if approval is given.
