Pet care experience
As someone who grew up with both cats and dogs, I am an avid lover of pets and an experienced caregiver for all. I have been trusted to care for large dogs, including dogs with special medication, dietary, training, and exercise needs. Additionally, there have been very few years in my life where I didn't have a cat, and I've cared for them through illnesses, dietary issues, injuries, heat, and kitten-hood. Overall, I am enthusiastic, attentive, and careful when it comes to providing pets with affection and tending to their physiological needs while their owners are away. I love animals and I am excited to make lots of fur friends in the community!

Lydia was great with my pup and kept me updated throughout her stay. It really made me feel comfortable knowing my pup was with someone to care and watch over her.
Lydia took extra care to make sure my pets were comfortable during our trip. They immediately warmed up to her and she kept us updated during our trip. She took care of our home and plants, and I felt comfortable with leaving her to take care of things. Shes responsible, friendly, and kind. I will definitely be using her for my pet and house sitting needs.
Lydia is extremely detail oriented when it comes to giving the best pet care. I had no doubts leaving my baby (100lb mastiff) with her for a weekend away. I being a worried mother, gave extensive instructions for caring for her and they were met to a T. Not only does Lydia have a heart of gold, but she will make sure your animal feels safe and loved in your absence.

General: I am quite flexible and can accommodate to your pets needs in a variety of ways as listed above. I'm happy to spend time with your pet in your home, to take them on walks, bathe them, and to visit them throughout the day on weekdays between my personal responsibilities! Boarding: I have a cat who LOVES to play with other cats, and has no problem being around dogs. If there are ever issues between the pets I can easily keep them separated in my living space.

Availability
I am currently a graduate student taking classes at various times throughout the week. Outside of class, I have a lot of opportunities to leave campus to check on pets, and most of my school days only consist of a few hours away from home. I also tend to be home and available on the weekends (Friday-Sunday)!
