Pet care experience
I had a German shepherd who was a rescue dog and just under 1 when we got her. She hated cages and didn’t sleep well during the night. She became a wonderful dog, who had brilliant recall on walks and learnt to sleep in her cage at night. Unfortunately she passed away a couple of years ago. I now have a Jack Russel, who needs constant attention and love. He doesn’t like other dogs and therefore I am unable to offer boarding but I am happy to home sit whilst others enjoy their holidays as my Jack Russel has love from other family members at home.
Reviews
Lydia is a wonderful dog sitter who took excellent care of our 3 year old standard Schnauzer. From when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with Jesse. She was also very accommodating when things changed and really went out of her way ensure our dog was well cared for. We were updated regularly on everything. When we came home after our long weekend away our dog was relaxed and happy. She clearly has a genuine interest in what she does which is so lovely. I would definitely recommend her - 5 stars! xx
Lydia is great with our dog Archie (Doberman) A lot of people are wary of him due to his size and breed, she took all of our directions on board, developing a very trusting and strong bond with him. She has done many overnight stays with him and multiple dog walks. Would highly recommend.

Our dog is allowed a lot of freedom at home however I understand not all owners train their dogs the same way. I would ensure that your training and home requirements with your pet are continued whilst you are away
Information Lydia E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirement ahead of a visit. Please also let me know of their routine and training so we can ensure consistency when they are without their owners
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog, this could be by playing tug of war, fetch, going on long walks around the fields and canal. I enjoy a cuddle on the floor or sofa of an evening to show our fur babies they are loved also.

Availability
I currently work Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm and on occasions I take on shifts at a local pub. I work from home on a Friday and can dog walk or dog sit for a day and work from someone else’s home. I have time between my full time job and pub shifts for walks, feeding etc and if I was to do a home stay with someone’s pet I am able to arrange to come home during the day, as long as you are close to Farnborough to let the dog out and short walk. I also provide my own blow up bed for overnight stays and bedding
