Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog walker and cat sitter living in Somerville (Inman/Union Sq). Available to walk, visit, and/or sit your pet weekdays & weekends, including overnights and longer-term stays. I have more experience with small and medium sized dogs, and walking and sitting more than one dog at a time. I have cared for dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and can adapt to different personalities and needs. The safety of your pet and security of your home is the top priority. Love giving pets the exercise & playtime they need! I can't have a pet where I'm living, so I am always eager to hang out with friends'/family members' floofs. *I don't have a car, so I would be walking, biking, or using the bus/T for transportation to your home.

Lydia took great care of my cat for a few days! She sent regular updates, gave my cat tons of play time, and even brought in the mail for me. Overall a great sitter!
We highly recommend Lydia for cat-sitting! We have two cats, one very social and one very shy/skiddish, and we weren’t expecting him to come out at all while she was over. She must have put them at ease, because the shy one came out to say hello from the first day she visited when we were away. We were so relieved that he felt so comfortable with her! I loved her pictures/messages each day, especially because I missed them so much. She brushed them, gave them lots of love and attention, played with them, cleaned the litter box a couple times, refreshed their food/water… oh and she was willing to learn how to help take care of our little turtle as well! We will definitely use Lydia again in the future.
Lydia was wonderful! We have a senior dog with some issues, and he took to her immediately. She stayed at my house for 4 nights, and sent me daily updates with photos. I was able to really relax on my vacation knowing that my old guy was in good hands.
Lydia went above and beyond taking care of our cat while we were out of town and making sure she was comfortable and happy! She communicated with us incredibly well and it was so great knowing that our cat was being very well taken care of. :)
