Pet care experience
My 14-year-old dog recently passed away, and I miss caring for a furry friend. I grew up with dogs and cats and love creatures of all kinds. I love puppies and gray muzzled dogs alike, as well as those cantankerous cats who have a deep distrust of strangers. I can give meds and I love brushing long-haired dogs.

Lydia is a great care giver. Our two cats were very happy when we returned. One of our cats super friendly, affectionate & verbal. Easy. But our older cat is very shy and has been known to hide for days when we introduce a new sitter. But not with Lydia! Our scaredy cat emerged early on during her visit. Lydia sent us a pic and I was able to relax for our trip. Lydia also took very good care our home and garden. The house was in great shape, and our plants were all healthy. If you’re looking for a reliable and conscientious sitter, Lydia is the perfect candidate!
Lydia was great. She came and met our dogs and easily connected with them and made us feel at ease right away. She obviously made our dogs feel comfortable as they showed no signs of stress when we got home. We will definitely use her again.

Availability
I'm currently a PhD student writing a dissertation, so apart from being on campus for about 5 hours a week, my schedule is quite flexible. I'd love to hang out with your pet and my books and laptop, and take writing breaks by walking and playing with your dog.
