Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Lydia. I have grown up with animals big and small. I have years of experience with animal health and behavior. I am Free Fear Certified and have 3 years experience as a Veterinary Technician. I also have a Bachelors Degree in Natural Horsemanship and an Associates Degree in Equine Science. Finding the right care for your pet/s while you are gone can be stressful and I believe that it is important for them to receive top quality care. I am a caring and responsible person that will take exceptional care of your pet/s while you are away.
Reviews
Lydia was an amazing house sitter and dog sitter. She left our house spotless and kept Charlie busy and engaged at the same time. Charlie truly believes that Lydia is one of her BFF's! We will definitely book with Lydia again :)
About Lydia B.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I approach every pet the same way. I observe the animals body langue and handle them in a way that is safest for the animal and myself. It is to me that animals are handled safely. It is important for pets to have fresh water, be on their regular meal schedule, and have frequent bathroom breaks.
Information Lydia B. would like to know about your pet
All dogs and the cat are very friendly. Jinx does require some extra maintenance than the others. He needs his nosed wiped and eyes cleaned daily.
A typical day
I can take dogs for walks to get rid of some excess energy and mental simulation. If possible to play fetch I will also do that. I will always double leash dogs for safety on walks and will only let dogs off leash with permission from owner and in a fenced in area. I am also experience in maintenance grooming (bathing, nail trims, removing matts, etc.).

Availability
My schedule currently gives me plenty of time to devote to your pet/s. I can be available Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings with weekend availability. That is plenty of time to take you dog for a walk, make sure they have everything they need, and giving them one on one time while you are away.
