Pet care experience
I have been a home manager for over a decade. Starting small as a Live-In Nanny and expanding to Property Management, Pet Sitter and even had several months living and helping manage a Hobby Farm with domestic and exotic animals. I assisted with the care of Horses, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chickens, Ducks, Cats, Dogs, Hedgehogs, Degus, Ferrets. I have always found myself to be a last minute pet sitter somehow, but I dont mind it! I have worked with a dog trainer many years ago in how to leash train. I have also spent time with a friend who was living with Leader Dogs For The Blind in Rochester MI, and watched how they train. I am building my own brand and love taking breaks to care-give, pets or children. Its a great way to fill my heart with joy & fulfillment. Every pet owner has their own preferences and rules in place. I strive to respect a pet owners desires when watching their baby at their home.

Lydia has so much attention to detail and is thoughtful, as well. She not only cared for Oliver, but also lovingly tended to my plants. She didn't hesitate to do a few other things around the house. She sent many pictures, which I loved. I knew my cat and my home were in good hands with Lydia.
I booked Lydia for house sitting at night for my puppy. Lydia is a warm and genuine soul with a very positive energy. She was incredible with Noah and she was able to train him in the time she cared for him. Noah seems better behaved every single time I came home. Lydia is a natural in anticipating needs and fulfilling hopes when it comes to raising puppies. I expressed to her my anxiety of not being able to raise a kind and gentle puppy due to my demanding job, and she reassured me and took the time to give me advice and pointers in raising my puppy. She truly went above and beyond as a sitter.
Lydia was amazing! This was the first time we used a service like rover and we’re a little nervous. She was great with the animals. She sent us photos and updates on a consistent basis. We would 100% recommended Lydia and will rebook with her next time!

Besides the typical walks/hikes. I like to always have a bag of treats with me and try to teach a dog new tricks. If the dog knows how to play fetch, I like using a ball thrower.
