Pawsitively the best!
Pet care experience
I have a passion for animal care and building relationships with the dogs I watch and their owners. I am more than capable at handling any pet challenge that comes my way, from puppies to senior dogs, small to large breeds, and everything in between! I fill my spare time by volunteering with RAL shelter dogs every weekend. This experience is heartwarming but also sad, as I feel every dog there deserves an amazing forever home. I love spending my time with the pups, cleaning their kennels and working on socialization skills so they have a greater chance of being adopted. I’m an active person and believe that the longer the walk, the better for both of us! My clients love the fact that I prioritize exercise and play, and will always keep them updated on just how much fun their pup is having with me throughout the day. I am also sure to communicate when things don’t go as well as planned, as being honest with my clients is extremely important. I’ve met pups with separation anxiety and find it is best to be as transparent as possible to ensure both the client and myself take the right measures to make sure their pup is comfortable and happy! I also make sure I listen and understand exactly what my clients expect of me and promise that every time I leave a dog, they will be happy, calm and ready for a nap upon their return! As a full time employee and part time student my schedule allows for mostly weekend focused dog sittings. Drop-ins and walks during the week are difficult, but many more are possible during the weekends. Send me a message—I look forward to meeting you!
Reviews
Lydia house sat for us and took extremely good care of our two dogs and one cat. She was very tentative, send frequent communication, and the pets were taken very good care of. This was our first time ever having a house sitter and admittedly a bit anxious. But everything went great and we will use Lydia again in the future.
Lydia is amazing! She spent two nights with my girls and took such good care of them, and the house. Very communicative, prompt, responsible, and most importantly, loving! Will definitely hire Lydia again. Thanks, Lydia!
Lydia did a great job with our Stella - sending updates daily and keeping us up to date on how she was doing. Also a great house sitter! Mike
She was great! Have us twice daily updates and we didn’t worry about our dogs at all !

I can’t offer boarding services in my home at this time but I am more than happy to come to you! It is important to me that the animal is comfortable with me in their space so I prefer to meet on location at least once beforehand.
Information Lydia A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your pup’s usual activity level, favorite places to walk, possible triggers, medications, how he/she behaves around other dogs and on the leash, plus anything else you think I’d need to know.
A typical day
I am an early riser so morning walks are not a problem. I usually like to send multiple messages to clients with updates and pictures, morning, afternoon, and night (will send more if requested). Meals are followed by plenty of bathroom opportunities. Exercise and enrichment as much as requested by the client throughout the day with time dedicated to rest as well.
