Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lydia and I've taken care of dogs and been obsessed with them since I was a toddler. Growing up, I had four dogs and I was always the one taking them on pack walks, feeding, bathing and playing with them. I have a 3-year old labradoodle Henry (follow our adventures on Instagram @mrhenry.doodle!) and we spend every minute together thanks to my full-time work from home job as a software developer! He is the love of my life, and best friend! I volunteered at animal shelters growing up and am also super interested in fostering; my dream is to one day adopt as many dogs as I can. Excited to welcome your pup into our home where they will be treated like family in a fun, positive and loving home.

Lydia is fantastic!
Lydia was beyond amazing. She was flexible with last minute adjustments to the schedule as well as pick up and drop off times. Our dog immediately loved her and Henry. She gave very thorough updates through the day. You can tel Lydia is an animal lover and I look forward to having her watch Auggie again.
Amazing care taker for our dog! Lydia sent lots of updates and pictures - our girl had such a great time staying with her!!

I strongly believe that pets thrive off routine, positivity, postive reinforcement, gentleness, and reliability. Henry and I have a great healthy schedule and he is a confident and happy pup because I am always praising him. Patience and sympathy are key, and I will always do my very best to make sure your little one is safe, comfortable, and enjoying themselves. I am certain we will become friends in no time! I'm familiar with applying topical medication to dogs, as well as oral medications mixed into food.

A typical day
Follow along our adventures on Instagram @mrhenry.doodle! Rain or shine a good day with the pups involves having fun! I love to take the pups on walks through the beautiful Public Gardens and Commons, and love to play with the pups with a game of fetch, tug, or a variety of puzzle toys.

Availability
I am currently working from home virtually during the week, and take my pup Henry out in the early morning, late morning, lunchtime, early afternoon, evening and nighttime walks. Happy to work with you to create a schedule that works for your furry loved one! In between meetings I'm always playing with the various toys around the apartment and taking my pup Henry out for a walk at the park (we live across the street from one!).
