I have had dogs in my life for the last nine years. I've had two dogs of my own. I regularly dog-sit for family and friends and enjoy spending time with them, from opening the doggie pool to playing fetch in the yard or a long walk. I will ensure your dog enjoys their time with us (me and my husband). I don't mind dogs on the couch for a good cuddle. And I am not afraid of feeding your dog raw meat if that is their meal. First time using Rover & can't believe how fortunate we were to have found Lyanne! We traveled to Italy for 7 days and were really worried about leaving our 4 month old puppy Bernadoodle in a kennel situation. Lyanne provided the perfect environment for our little guy, so much love & care and to top it off, was so great to work with! Our little guy, Bruno, absolutely LOVED his stay with Lyanne! Lyanne and her husband Eddie were wonderful caretakers for my dog Squish. I had been working in the area and needed someone to sit him that I could trust. They took responsible precautions introducing him to their other dogs and had partitioned off their home so they could control introductions. They sent videos and photos regularly which calmed me. My dog has special needs and doesn’t warm to new people right away and he just loved them. Highly recommend!

I have a fenced yard, so they get to run around and potty leash-free! If you have a senior dog, they have someone they can lay and cuddle with or they can lay peacefully in their own bed. If your dog needs a bath, I am happy to do that for an extra charge. If they want a short walk, we can do a walk down the street or they can walk in the yard. If they want a long walk, we can do that, too! I put dog gates up if animals need to be separated while I am away.

If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs or is very high energy, it is important for me to know so I can keep them separated from other dogs. I also would want to know if your dog takes any medication or needs help doing anything so I can ensure they are not injured (maybe they should not be jumping off a couch or bed; maybe they shouldn't be running).
A typical day
We can play fetch, play in the pool on hot days, and take a run around the block! Anything to keep your dog having fun and using their energy.

I work full-time at home most days. I typically go into the city for work on Wednesdays and my husband is also home 2 days a week. Therefore, it is very unlikely that your pet will be home alone for more than a few hours while they are in my care.
