Pet care experience
Hello! I am a dog sitter who has had experience with dogs all of my life as I have one cute doggo now. I adore dogs and all pets. I find that all dogs I encounter love me, and I give them time to trust me. If I sit your dog, I will guarantee your dog is my priority and that they have the most fun. Unlimited belly rubs! For dog sitting at my home, I do have a small American Pitbull Terrie, she's hyper and full of love. I'd prefer keeping my dog away from work as some dogs tend to be aggressive towards her. Therefore, when I walk your dog, it will just be your dog and me!

Luz has watched my dog on many occasions and I always feel safe leaving my dog with her. She truly loves animals and it shows. My dog, Jax, is always so excited when she arrives because he knows he’s in good hands. Jax is a high energy dog and doesn’t always have the best manners, but Luz always knows how to calm him down and handle his craziness. She truly loves dogs and knows exactly how to take care of them, always making sure they are fed, walked, and loved.

Their exercise is next on my list, making sure they get as many walks and playtime as possible. I also play little games to stimulate their minds such as hiding treats in a towel and allowing them to dig in to find them.

I think it's important to let me know how your dog is with other dogs. Being knowledgeable about this tells me what I should do if a dog approaches. I have a pitbull who has slight reactivity so I know how to handle a dog in case it reacts. All I need is a distraction, or change my route to avoid the stress for the dog.
A typical day
I will go on walks around your neighborhood, or to a park nearest you. If you have a preference for where you usually take your dog, that would be great!

Availability
I am currently in school but have an open schedule for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Scheduled walks are preferable before sunset, and check-ups on a dog are open for any time of the day. Although, no later than 10 PM.
