Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Lulu and my love for animals makes me the perfect candidate to care for your beloved pet when you are away. I have grown up my whole life around animals like horses, dogs and cats. I work as an assistant trainer at a performance horse facility and I have been competitively riding for ten years. Growing up around horses I have learned alot about taking care of animals and I even own 2 horses. In the past I have worked for a Golden Retriever breeder, where I gained a lot of experience working with dogs. Some of my duties were caring for pregnant females, whelping litters, working with large groups of dogs, walking dogs, medical care, and raising puppies. I have worked a bit on basic training of puppies and understand the developmental process of dogs. I also still care for my family's senior dog who has special needs. I have plenty of time in my schedule to give your fur baby all the attention it deserves and I am happy to do so. A little over a year ago, I suddenly lost my Doberman to a predisposed genetic heart issue. After that devastation I took me a while to want another dog and just recently I have been thinking about getting a new dog. But I realized that maybe I should wait for a better time, so I decided that pet sitting would be a great option for me. It would help me fill the need for an animal and give me the opportunity to give all my love to some great pets. Please consider me as a trusted individual to care for your pet, and I look forward to further communication.

Our first Rover experience and we really couldn't have chosen better. The perferct set up of indoors/outdoors and we are so grateful to Lulu for her instinctive love and kindness to our pup where we could leave, knowing that he was in great hands. The pet whisperer! Only the family dog was there in the house too, which was perfect for our pup who is better on a 1:1 with other dogs. Would highly recommend Lulu for any travel plans you have!

Lulu was amazing. She communicated clearly with us, made sure to know if there was anything specific to our pup and was very accommodating on our schedule. We came home to a happy, and clearly loved pup. We look forward to using Lulu again in the future.
Lulu is an amazing caretaker for pets! Her skills and experience was proven while I was away in Japan for a month. During my time abroad she took care of my dog everyday, feeding him, making sure he had enough water, exercising him, and all around making sure that he was still very happy while I was out of town! I trusted her with my dog and I would trust her over and over. I highly recommend her services!

My home is on about 3 acres with a fully fenced yard where the dogs have plenty of space to run around. I even have an enclosed pasture within the property if dogs like to be outside all day. There is a full wrap around deck that gets lovely afternoon sunlight where my old dog would sunbathe for hours. I have plenty of time in the morning to feed and walk the dogs. I love to go on long walks, so I am open and flexible to meet the dogs exercise needs, weather they need lots of walking or something a bit short. There is plenty of room inside the house for dogs to hangout and I do let them onto the furniture. In the evening I will usually feed and walk dogs before it gets dark.

A typical day
I spend most of my time outdoors and I am happy to enjoy being outside with your pup. I have a huge property with plenty of space for running and playing. There is also a creek that runs across my property as well which is a great place for the pups to swim if that is something they are allowed to do. I am very familiar with my area including all of the great hiking spots that are available. Rest assured that when your pup is in my care they will be getting all the love and attention they deserve.

Availability
I do work 5 days a week, but my schedule is very flexible. I am often home on weekdays after 3 and I am always free on the weekends. I work at a barn where dogs are always welcome and I would be able to bring them there if that is an option you are comfortable with. I still take care of my parents old dog and I walk him twice a day once in the morning and once in the afternoon, so let care is already something that is in my schedule.
