Pet care experience
Hello there! I have over 5 years of dog care experience and I am very familiar and comfortable with all breeds; mini/toy to extra large breeds and high energy puppies to old lovable gems. All dogs need to let out their energy and someone to hangout with and I want to be there for them! I am well versed with dog body language and understand that each dog is unique in their own way. Thanks to working in a dog facility as well as being surrounded by dogs my entire life. I have had the privilege of raising, loving and training my dog since he was 3 months. As well as welcoming a shelter dog who we have had for 1.5 years now. He came with anxiety and his own challenges but that is what makes him unique. I love Rover because it gives me the opportunity to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for every dog. So I thank you in advance for trusting me with you four legged friends!

Luke watched our dog Maya for 5 days while we went on vacation and he did an excellent job! We have a very active dog and he took her on long walks and played with her after her long walks. He sent daily picture updates of her which were great. I will definitely reach out to Luke again when/if I need help with our dog. Highly recommend him :)
Luke was awesome! He communicated with me on each visit with clear details of the visit and how my pups were doing. He send plenty of photos, when we returned home, our pups were super happy, I could tell they were very well take care of and loved on. He was very approachable during the meet and greet and could tell he knew and cared about animals. I’m so glad we gave him a chance! I hope he’s able to help us in the future.
Luke has always been my go-to person for dog advice. When I adopted my rescue Pittie, Reggie, he was managing a doggy daycare facility, and I was a little bit overwhelmed by my pup's baggage from previous owners. Aside from being AMAZING to Reggie, Luke has helped me learn how to better respond to certain situations with my dog. I think this is because he has always been very calm and confident around dogs. I am not sure which part is best about him - his ability to professionally care for canine companions, or his ability to pass along his own working knowledge on dog behavior to the owners. Either way, Luke is one of the few people I trust fully to take care of my pets. I am beyond sad to see him leave our town, but I am equally as excited to see him embark on this new chapter in his life.
Luke is in every sense a dog lover. He's able to tune into what they want so clearly I'm almost certain he can read their minds. His own dog, Banjo, is such a well trained and lovable pup. It really reflects the love and attention Luke gives him. As a dog sitter myself, if I have any questions about dog care he's my go-to expert to call. I'd trust him with my own dog, knowing they'd be in the best hands I could find.
