Pet care experience
Besides growing up with animals, I have experience with dogs at a professional level. For over a year, I used to manage a kennel in my home state Maryland. My responsibility for the animals was ensuring they were fed, cleaned, walked, medicated if needed, and generally cared for. The kennel was a part of a veterinary office so we would board animals for hours to days at a time depending on the circumstances. My goal is to create rapport with the animals that I work with and their owners so that they may feel at ease when leaving their furry friends.

Luke is a conscientious and thoughtful dog walker. He is proactive with communication, flexible with options and respects our home and boundaries. Our high-energy 16 month old Pointerdor returns happy and tired from his playtime. Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough great things about Luke. He is an RN and one of his past jobs while in college was working for a local veterinarian. Luke has always been around dogs his entire life. Our family has always had a furry friend or two and his mother dog sat for years as a side business. Luke was always willing to help out whenever needed. He is responsible, professional and caring. He is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Luke to anyone looking for a dog walker.
I would recommend Luke for a caregiver because he is patient, caring and really enjoys playing with my two kittens. He makes sure they are staying safe and not getting into things they are not supposed to. He always shows them ample attention and love. Overall, I believe he is a great pet caregiver.

A typical day
I think it is important to find out the dog’s/cat’s interests and build a routine around that. I would definitely walk with dogs as long as they want. And if permitted, I would take dogs to the dog park to mingle with others. Always down for a game of fetch.

I am a nurse, so I currently work three days a week. My schedule changes every week which allows me to be flexible and potentially have days off in a row at a time.
