Brief adventures around Charleston!

Pet care experience

Nothing makes my day more than seeing a happy dog! A happy dog is a tired dog, as they say, and I've found that walking around the safe parts of Charleston is a great way to tire them out. I'm currently a student at the College of Charleston. I've had my own Goldendoodle for 12 years, and I miss him dearly while I'm away from my home in PA! I've found and returned three dogs in the past--I'm great at disarming and making friends with cautious pets. I'm the type of person who will drop my schedule to help a lost dog find its owner again. I love getting dogs excited to walk and play! I'm also very flexible and adaptable to your dog's personality. I'm ready to care for any needs your dog may have, whether that be a jog to the battery or a walk through the neighborhood.

Information Luke H. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if there are things I should avoid (people, other dogs, squirrels, people on bikes/boards).

A typical day

I like to walk dogs around the surrounding area of the campus--not too much foot traffic, but plenty of things to smell and do business on, and very little hazards like glass or fast cars. If your dog is fine off the leash, I will take them to the park and throw ball, and let them explore at a close, safe distance. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs I can walk them to the dog park near the Battery for some doggie playtime. I'll also be sure to practice commands, such as sitting patiently before we cross the street!
