Pet care experience
I've grown up with and been around dogs my entire life--from pure breeds to mutts. I've had experience with puppies up through a little more challenging rescue dogs (including our current monster, Maverick). I have experience with both balanced and positive reinforcement training, so I can keep up your training methods while caring for your pet. Our rescue dog went through a board and train program at Method K9, so I'm very familiar with their training methodologies and will bring that confidence to your dog!

Luke was great! He watched our young dog who was new to us and just settling in. He was patient with her quirks, continued with her basic behavior training, and kept her thriving in our absence. Great communication and lots of photos. Flexible and just rolled with some last-minute household chaos. 100% recommend.
Luke gave our very active dog a solid walk each pick up. Our Vizsla seemed to enjoy the walks very much and came back ready to take a nap, which is exactly what we needed. We would definitely use Luke’s help again in the future.

A typical day
After spending years with multiple types of dogs, I think it's important to stimulate them both mentally and physically. I will take your dog for a short or long walk (or run if they need some extra tiring out). I'm happy to throw the ball, play tug or run through some mentally stimulating activities (known commands, puzzles, etc) with your dog to burn off that extra bit of energy.
