Pet care experience
I grew up in a rescue farm in Madeira island, in contact with all kind of animals-taking care of them and making sure they were treated properly: feeding them, assist the vet when necessary, grooming, etc. We have cows, rabbits, pigs, chickens, lambs all rescued because injured in the wild or from bad caretakers. We also have dogs and cats and growing up and they were my companion. I am an animal lover and I plan one day have my own piece of land to create my animal sanctuary. Currently I am only boarding cats but I am available for drop-in visits for cats and dogs.
Reviews
I've known Luisa for years and she's always loved animals, cats in particular. Whenever we go on walks together the cats know her and she's so gentle and kind with them. She even has a poster of all the neighbourhood cats which she bought from a local yard sale. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter! :)

I always make sure I understand the pet personality and I always ensure they feel at home as much as possible. They will always have fresh water, clean toys, a clean litter (cats) and a good spot to rest as well as lots of attention and cuddles if they are more of an extrovert animal.

I would love to know if the cat as any special needs and habits like feeding times/preference and or dietary requirements, morning sun exposure hours, if he prefers drinking from running water (usually cats prefer this). For longer stays (more than a week) I would also need the know if the cat can stay for a couple of hours alone at home before accepting the booking.
A typical day
I love playing with cats and I have toys that are always washed before each pet arrives. Also I always encourage owners to send the cat favourite toys so we can have a fun time playing.

I moved to London to work as a graphic designer. I work full time from home at an amazing American company and take my weekends and evenings to care for amazing pets. Just giving them all the attention and love. As an animal lover that currently can’t compromise on owning any pet, I find in pet sitting the best way of enjoying my free time.
