I had a dog for 15 years who passed away and left a big staffie-shaped hole in our lives! I missed the company, the walks and most of all the cuddles and conversations. So much I that I decided to start walking and caring for the dogs of friends until we adopted a Romanian rescue dog, Lucille, who has now been with us for 2 years. I offer a loving and spacious family home for your fur baby when you need to be away. I won’t let them get into bad habits but will spoil them with affection if that’s what they are used to! am physically fit and active and have ready access to open spaces and woodland. I have boarded many dogs of varying sizes, breeds and temperaments so am not phased by much! I am a self-employed writer so am at home most days during the day and keep very flexible working hours. I have an extremely chilled out cat who is used to dogs and totally independent. I have a husband who is a wheel chair user and animal-lover and 2 children aged 10 & 12 who are gentle but playful. We like to spend time outdoors and visiting dog-friendly pubs. We all possess what I believe are the most important elements in life - honesty, kindness and a sense of humour.
