Luis P.
Hello there, Im Luis, a trainee dog groomer :)
Pet care experience
I have had my own dog Luna the Shorkie (Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier) for over 3 years now. She was a puppy during the COVID19 lockdown which gave me plenty of time to give her the 1 to 1 time and attention she deserved. Since then I have spent every day with her and wouldn't change it for the world. She has taught me the joy of dog company and now all I want to do is surround myself with other happy doggos!
Reviews
Thanks for doing this at short notice
Luis is a lovely natured and mature young man, who is trustworthy, reliable and courteous. He has a passion for dogs and the care, grooming side of looking after them, is something he has a great interest in. I think he would make an ideal pet caregiver. Jennifer.L
Luis’ love for dogs is genuine and sincere. He would be a perfect fit for your organisation, he is punctual and reliable, friendly and caring, outgoing and willing to put in 100% of his time in helping others by caring/ walking their dogs. I’m not only saying this because he is my son but he is a decent person who just needs a chance to show how terrific he can be in this role. Your company and pet owners will not be disappointed.
Luis is very trustworthy, he was kind and gentle with my dog, this was good as he is unsure of new people. You can tell he has a great passion for dogs and engaged with my dog very well.

Your dogs safety and trust will be my number one priority! I understand that dogs are a part of the family and realise how much they can mean to people. I will be happy to work with you or chat about any specific needs your dog may have. For the safety of your dog I will always have them on lead (unless given permission from you to allow them off). I always carry with me my trusty dog walking bag that has all the essentials you could think of for an enjoyable walk/play!
Information Luis P. would like to know about your pet
Things i'd like to know ahead of time: . Is your dog ok to be walked with other dogs? . How good is their recall when being let off their lead? . Do they have any allergies or special dietary requirements? . Any aggressive behaviours towards other dogs or people?
A typical day
I love to use dog walking as an excuse to check out new green spaces in and around Cambridge. I (like your dog) love the outdoors and especially enjoy it with the company of a four legged friend. whether i'm running around playing chase or enjoying a good spot of fetch with the more energetic dogs. Im also more than happy to take things slow for the elder or more lethargic dogs. our favourite places? for the larger dogs that need more running room we enjoy the greens along the River Cam either Midsummer Common, Jesus green or Stourbridge. For more exploratory dogs we cant look much further than Milton Country Park. Not forgetting the slower more chilled dogs a nice smaller walk is around the lakes at The Cambridge Science Park.

I am currently taking a course in Dog Grooming and Pet Care which leaves me plenty of free time during the days to hang out with my best friend and potentially...yours too? As well as working towards completing my course, I have a 0hr contract at one of Cambridge's theatres which allows me to be super flexible and work around whatever dog care needs you may have.
