Pet care experience
Hey there! I’m Lucy :) I rescued and currently live with my German shepherd baby — Sunny and my cat — Minnie. I’ve been with them since 2019, but I’ve had experience taking care of animals for years. Throughout my high school/college days, I frequently volunteered at animal shelters or took care of family and friend’s pets while they were away. This gave me exposure and experience with pets of all different shapes, sizes and personalities — whether it be puppies with high energy or a senior dog that needs requires gentle attention. I’ve been around pets my entire life and they are my joy and happiness. :)

While I do live in an apartment, it is very spacious and I have a patio and relatively large fenced-in/green-area dog park attached to my apartment complex. I’ll frequently walk them everyday, and make sure to give them lots of enrichment time where they can run around and play freely. And with whatever instructions or routine your pet is most comfortable in, I’ll follow those directions. I promise your furbaby and home is in safe hands with me. 🤍 At any point too, I provide FaceTime calls and send frequent photos everyday on their updates. Please don’t be afraid to ask for any accommodations or requests you may have!

Availability
I currently work full-time as a Software Engineer. I’m on a hybrid schedule where I do have to go into the office in the mornings from 9 am - 12 pm but otherwise, I’ll be mostly home. Spending time with them makes me very happy, and gives me lots of fulfillment for giving them a comfortable happy environment around me.
