Pet care experience
I’ve had animals as long as I can remember. From cats to dogs to horses. I’ve always loved walking my dogs with my dad. Family and friends have had me as a pet sitter for their puppies, older dogs, cats, and horses. I’ve been trusted to take care of equine therapy horses as well as maintaining and feeding other horses. I have participated in internships such as an equine hospital, Thal Equine, and currently work as an adoptions counselor at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter.

Lucy is a wonderful sitter and animal lover! She took excellent care of my sensitive mastiff and cat for about one week. She is punctual, sweet and communicative! She sent me many cute pictures of my babies, and left my place very tidy. I would highly recommend Lucy! 🐾
Lucy watched my two dogs while my husband and I traveled to Europe. I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her hands for the week we were away. She was communicative, punctual and was so loving to my sweet boys. She sent multiple photos a day and updated me on how the boys were doing. I am appreciative to have found her and will definitely be booking with her in the future!
Lucy was amazing! She took care of our babies just like they were her own! She went above and beyond. We will 10/10 rebook with her and recommend her! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats that were in such great hands while we were out of town. Thank you again so much!!

I have a fenced in front and backyard, but we try to keep the dogs in the backyard as it is less risky for them. I have been successful at potty training all of my dogs (and teaching them tricks). My favourite things to do with animals are run around a yard for playtime and lounging on the couch giving lots of pats.

Availability
I currently work as an adoptions counselor at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, so I am constantly walking, moving, and rounding on different animals, as well as playing a key part in finding their forever homes. After work and I’m my days off, I am either taking care of my own animals or riding horses at my stables.
