I easily connect with all animals and once acquainted, dogs feel very relaxed and safe around me. I only watch one clients' pets at a time. I am experienced with large breed dogs, senior dog care and post-op care. Very dog-friendly and dog-proof home with a large fenced in dog play area in my yard. I'm happy to take your dogs on local walks to Illinois Beach State Park and the local Forest Preserve Trails, as I love the exercise myself.

Lucy watched our Pitbull for 5 days while we were out of town. Lucy took Loving care of our dog, and her yard has an enclosed fence so that the dogs can get exercise and safely play. Lucy was in contact with us over the whole period, sending pictures, videos and texts, so we knew what was happening. I highly recommend her. If 5 stars is the highest rating, I would give her a 5 stars +.

I have an easy to maneuver ranch home with a large fenced in dog play area in my yard. Your pets can have the run of my house based on their behavior and maturity level. I do have large and small dog crates and if I leave the house your pets will be crated until I have eyes on them again. I am always in the yard with your pet and rest assured they are never left indoors or outdoors on their own. When out on walks your dog is always on a short leash and I am well versed on controlling dogs around other animals and people. I only watch one families dog/dogs at a time and never mix with other animals while out on walks.

A typical day
I like to give young and able dogs a lot of physical exercise & stimulation which involves frequent play time with me in my fenced-in yard. I also live 10 to 15 minutes from Illinois Beach State Park and also Spring Bluff Forest Preserve Trails so if your dog likes car rides and new experiences I like to get outdoors as much as possible and go exploring all year round.

Availability
I am semi-retired and work on-line from home. I do try and make sure when booked for dog-sitting or overnight boarding that I have no other obligations or errands to do. I am at home and quite happy to share my days with your pet. I lost my little dog Chuckie of 19 years last December, and I so enjoy the company of animals, you can rest assured your pet with be my sole priority while in my care. PLEASE NOTE: I am eager to help with your pet care needs and in order to best do that, I do require a "meet and greet" appointment prior to scheduling all pet care appointments.
