Pet care experience
I had trained my two Border Collies, Molly and Scarlett, in dog obedience and agility. Certified by the American Kennel Club and the United States Dog Agility Association, I was able to enter them into competitions to place. As a high school student, I regularly outperformed the adults I competed against. In addition, I obtained dog therapy certification for Molly, whom I took to a retirement home regularly to visit it’s residents. Having trained my own dogs I know the work that goes into keeping them happy, healthy, safe, well groomed and having fun! As a young, fit, hard working individual, I am not only capable of a walk, but I can also RUN your dog if you prefer a more extensive workout. With smiles, pets, treats, rewards (and plenty of poop baggies!) I know I have what it takes to be a part of your dog pack!

Lucy is a professional, active and compassionate individual who takes the time to listen to each clients particular wants and needs. She adores all animals as if they are her own which combined with her energetic personality makes her a perfect fit for pups of any activity level. Lucy has raised two amazing dogs by herself, and more before that. She used to compete in AKC competitions, and has lots of experience working with a lot of different breeds, even rescue dogs. There is no one else I would trust more to look after my dog.

I am unable to board a dog at my current residence, but I would be happy to dog and house sit upon request. In conclusion, I will walk, run, dog sit, house sit, and groom/bathe your dog depending on your needs. I am familiar with parks and hiking trails in the area and am able to transport your K-9 baby to any location in Albuquerque upon prior agreement/request. I will give them lots of pets, smiles, and treats. Not only will I come prepared with treats, but I will also bring poop baggies, a gallon of water and a collapsable bowl for water breaks. I strictly adhered to owners’ instructions, requests, and any special needs.

My current schedule is a full-time dog walker: flexible and open to anyone looking for a loving companion for their K-9 baby. All dates and times negotiable. I can do one time walks, no problem! However, I believe that developing a set, regularly scheduled walk, is beneficial to dog and owner.
