Pet care experience
We have been helping out on Rover for nearly a year and we have met some wonderful pets with quite a few becoming regulars! We have our own dog, called Phoebe, who we rescued from Bali last December, therefore we can no longer board at our house as this is her safe space whilst she adapts to the UK way of life (and weather!), but please make contact and we will see if we can help you and your furry friend. Before having Pheebs we had a house rabbit called Rupert and often look after cats too, we adore all animals.

Lucy and Sam have looked after our cockapoo Dexter very well several times, he loves it when either Lucy or Sam come and is especially excited to see both! Lucy and Sam are always keen to take Dexter for a walk, even when pouring with rain! They dry him off and settle him down for a sleep 😴 we are completely comfortable leaving Dexter with them, also at their home which hopefully will be more often once!
Thanks to Lucy and Sam Second time they’ve helped me out with my slightly strange pets So reassuring and feel like they really care about them Made my holiday enjoyable knowing they were well looked after

Our garden is a nice size for a dog to run around in and two of the walls are brick and the other fence so it is very secure. We can stay in other peoples houses, we are both very trustworthy and respectful.

Information Lucy R. would like to know about your pet
It is really important to know how long your dog can be left. We are rarely home all the time (most of the time one of us is here but not always) but we often have around 4-5 hours between one leaving and the other getting back home so if we are looking after your pets for a long time, please let us know if that is okay. When we are there we will make up for not being with them!
A typical day
We live right next to Holywells Park in Ipswich and we love to go for long walks there and enjoy a coffee in their dog friendly cafe. We also like going to the beach!

Availability
We both work shifts which range from early mornings to night shifts, this allows us to be at home on our own frequently and also home for a number of days during our days off. Every week our schedule changes but we know months in advance what shifts we will be working.
