Experienced professional pet care!
Pet care experience
Growing up, I had pets of all kinds, and my mom often joked that we lived in a petting zoo. I started house sitting for people in my neighborhood when I was a teenager. In college my pet sitting business followed me here to Boston. I’ve been on Rover since 2017, I walk dogs on weekdays with a local company, plus I have a few regular clients of my own. I take pride in my experience, and will provide you professional services. Animals are my joy, and I have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, turtles, parrots, hermit crabs, rodents and more! I can handle a lot of special needs, particularly anxious dogs. I fall in love with just about every animal I work with. I can’t wait to meet your pets!
Reviews
Responsive, responsible, and followed our directions exactly. Lucy took our puppy out, fed her, and played with her. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend and hope she will take care of our dog again
Best walker :)
Lucy was amazing with my cat, Panda, and took regular care of him while I was away for a couple weeks. It is quite reassuring to find a happy cat on my return and Lucy had a big part to play in his well being. She kept me updated on her visits and was also receptive to my suggestions.
Lucy was great and my dog Tegan loved her. Her communications are good, she follows up and is easy to work with. Lucy obviously loves dogs and I plan to call on her again.

Information Lucy M. would like to know about your pet
The absolute best thing for me, especially if house sitting for more than a couple of days, is a note (hard copy or digital) with the following info: -Your pet’s normal feeding, walking, and bathroom schedule. I do my best to adhere to their routine as closely as possible. -Any special needs, medications, or fears or aggression when it comes to other dogs, children, the mailman, etc. My top priority is keeping everyone safe! -Quirks, like if they hide under the bed during thunderstorms, or what their favorite toy is! -Name, address and phone number of your vet in case there is an emergency -The best way to contact you if I have any questions -Any other household tasks that need attending in your absence, like watering plants, trash/recycling day, if you’re expecting a package, etc. As for pets, I'm happy to take care of anything from the littlest lap dog to the biggest of beasts. I'm not afraid to get barked at or jumped on, and I am comfortable with all species of pets. Bring it on!
A typical day
I love park trips and backyard time and will not ball at even the slobberiest of tennis balls. I'm also a regular runner, so if you have a high energy dog who would benefit from some exercise I'm happy to bring him/her along with me! On the weekends I like to get out of the city for some hiking, and often bring my dogsitting charges. Of course, all activities will be tailored to the dogs needs and owners preferences.
