Hi I’m Lucy! I’m 20 years old, and I studied animal care and management for 2 years at Rodbaston College, where I cared for a wide range of different types of animals. I’ve always been a big animal lover and grown up around them, and always wanted to work with them, so I thought I’d use the knowledge and love I have for animals to start doing dog walking and drop in visits! My ideal job would be to spend my time looking after dogs and cats :) I used to walk my friends dog twice a week for 2 years, and we currently look after a friends dog when they go on holiday, which we’ve been doing for a few years. I currently have 3 pets and I’ve also owned hamsters and a rabbit in the past Other experience includes - I worked a full day of work experience at a dog groomer's, where I cleaned the shop and got everything ready for the dogs, and I observed them being cut and groomed I did a few days of work at a dog rescue, and my main duties were cleaning kennels, sweeping the yard, washing up and doing any jobs that needed completing on the day I did a few days of work at a dog shop where I helped out with the maintenance of the shop such as cleaning and stocking shelves
