Pet care experience
I have two of my own dogs, both whom I adore. My labrador is very nervous, having originally been a kennelled dog unused to human interaction before she came to us, so I am used to handling nervous and anxious dogs. I also have lots of experience looking after puppies, both my own little dachshund and pet sitting for family members.

Lucy looked after my dogs for the first time very recently. Lucy is friendly, polite and seems very sensible and is clearly a dog lover.. The dogs immediately warmed to her. Lucy did a great job of looking after them and communicated well with us giving us updates and photos as we requested. I have already booked Lucy to dog sit again and would highly recommend her.
My dog had a fantastic day with Lucy. She came home relaxed and happy and having had a very good walk. Lucy’s mum was also extremely helpful, calm and consistent with my “typical” spaniel. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.
Lucy was very responsive from the very first contact and came over for a meet and greet. Punctual and responsible, I felt very comfortable leaving my French Bulldog Betty with her. She sent me an update and photo during her visit without any prompting which is lovely when you leave your dog with somebody for the first time. Betty was well looked after and very relaxed when I came home, so I knew she'd been in good and safe hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lucy and I've already booked her again. Safety is paramount to me. My own dachshund is something of an escape artist, so I am extra careful about making sure that everything is secure and that your pet is safe. I am a very attentive sitter, and will make sure that your pet is well-entertained and cannot get into any mischief! I have also completed a certificate in dog first-aid, so rest assured that your pet will be in safe, knowledgeable hands!

I'd love to know as much about your dog as possible and feel free to send lots of photos! Particularly important to know are any likes/dislikes, quirks, feeding schedule, and how best to keep your dog happy in your absence.
A typical day
Routine is very important for dogs, and I'm more than happy to spend our time together doing whatever your dog likes best! That being said, walks on the beach or the woods and games in the garden are always a good option! If your dog is the sociable kind, we can also pop down to the local dog-friendly café and enjoy some treats!

I'm currently a final year university student with limited class hours. This means I have lots of time to dedicate to looking after your furry friend, particularly in holidays where I am available almost every day.
