I’ve been caring for and sharing my love for animals for about 30 years since my family adopted our first dog, Sam, the pug. After that, I couldn’t wait to be greeted by an unconditionally loving friend every time I got home from school or work. I am happiest around animals and I can’t wait to take care of yours as if they were my own.

As soon as I enter your home, all I see is your pet/s, so need need to tidy anything up. I will follow all the directions you share so that your friends can have the staycation they want (with lots of love and attention) while you get the vacation (or peace of mind during a long day at work) that you deserve. If I’m taking your dog out for a walk, I’ll be sure to follow your usual leash rules and greet other dogs from near or far, whichever you prefer, for the safety and comfort of your pup. If your dog walks well with others, maybe I’ll bring my dog, Barack, along so your pup can have a friend. No matter how your animals and I spend time together, expect lots of photos and a detailed update of all the fun we’re having!

It’s helpful for me to know your dog’s favorite activities and typical ways they communicate (for example, Barack always whines when he needs to go out and paws at me for cuddles or to sit on my lap). This will help me make sure I am meeting all their needs while you are away.
A typical day
I love to be outside, so if it’s suitable for your pet, we’ll be out getting lots of steps in. I love exploring new neighborhoods and letting your pet lead the way! I’m always happy to throw a ball or a frisbee at the neighborhood park as well. If your animals prefer short walks and indoor play time, I can provide that too!

I work full-time from home with lots of flexibility in my schedule for walks and drop-ins. I am excited to get out of the house and explore new neighborhoods with your four (or sometimes three)-legged friends!
