A life-long animal lover who grew up with a family dog as well as many other kinds of animals including rodents, insects, fish, and reptiles (including a leopard gecko which I had for 21 years!). I cannot recommend Lucinda enough. Dalia is a shy dog, hesitant with strangers but Lucinda patiently approached her and they bond immediately! Lucinda and I met once before the weekend and during my time away she was constantly sending pictures which make me feel very comfortable knowing that Dalia was happy and safe and I was able to enjoy my time away. I came back to the happiest dog!
Lucinda took care of Cornchip and our small pets in our home for a week while we were on holidays. She gave us lots of updates and photos which helped settle our nerves, and we came home to a happy, healthy pup who got lots of play, attention and love, and even a trip to his favourite pub! We would love to have Lucinda mind Cornchip anytime, highly recommended!
Was my first time a non-family member looked after Doris (dog). She is a rescue and can be unsure of people she doesn’t know so I was unsure how she would react. I couldn’t of asked for it to go any better than it did. Lucinda was great she new how to approach Doris and get her to trust her and love her. Lucinda kept us informed with messages and pictures over the weekend. Recommend Lucinda to anyone who is looking for a warm and comfortable person who knows how to connect to there pets (family). Lucinda is a lovely person who is easy to chat to and get in with. She put us at ease.

It is essential that I have an understanding of your pet’s likes and dislikes and what a standard day for them looks like. I will only proceed with a booking after an initial meet and greet has been completed. After this I will send you an online form to fill in that I will use as a point of reference when caring for your pet. There is no obligation to fill this in, however it reduces the need for me to ask you questions while you are away meaning you can relax and enjoy your time in addition to ensuring that there is no miscommunication about your pets needs and the expectations of both owner and sitter. I will always contact you if there is something that has not been covered through the meet and greet or the form.
A typical day
I love going on walks, playing, and giving lots of love and attention! Your pet’s well-being and safety are my number one priority, so I will only walk them in places that you approve. I personally love walking in botanic gardens and in wooded areas and walkways as well as waterfronts and local parks. I prefer to keep dogs on a lead at all times outside of the home, but if you would prefer them off-lead we can certainly discuss this. I will send lots of pictures throughout so you know that your pet is safe and happy!
