Hi! I’m brand new to the Meaford/Collingwood/Thornbury area, but have visited ever since I was little. Living here has been nothing but amazing, since moving from the busy city. A little bit about my pet history, I had two bunnies over the course of my years in elementary school and early high school. Their names were Oscar and Pongo - they were the sweetest little guys and lived very long happy lives. A few years later in September 2017, we got our special girl Lola. For over 8 wonderful years, she was the light of our lives. She passed away in February 2026 from cancer and we miss her so so much. Since then, I’ve been wanting to spend more time around dogs again - their energy, their companionship, the simple joy of a good walk. Getting to know dogs (and people!) in this community feels like a natural next step as I settle into life here. I’m patient, gentle, and give every animal in my care the same love and attention I gave Oscar, Pongo and Lola. I am a very active individual as well, so I look forward to early morning walks and jogs, a lot of playtime and teaching animals tricks. I’ve also had hands on experience caring for dogs outside of my own family. I’ve looked after friends’ big dogs such as a German Shepherd named Sky, and I’m very comfortable with high energy breeds - Lola herself was a cockapoo, so I know that zoomies and cuddle combo very well! Extended family members also have high energy dogs I’ve helped care for over the years. On the medical side, I have experience administering medication to mid-to-senior dogs, since Lola was on medication a few times in her later years At the end of the day, caring for animals has always felt second nature to me! I’d love the chance to bring that same care, patience, and love to your pet while getting to know this community I now call home!
