Pet care experience
I have raised two dogs, a poodle and a pit bull, so my experience in caring for dogs is varied. I also dog sit my friends dogs in summer at my upstate cabin. Once my friend went to France for three weeks and I have the dog with me at home and we had a great time. Mostly it's weekend dog sitting, which I enjoy as I consider it also doggy therapy and a break from the usual mold and schedule.
Reviews
Lucie has been my dogsitter on numerous occasions now and she is always the first person I call when I need a dogsitter. She is extremely reliable and takes extra special care of my dog. When I get home from a trip, my dog is happy and relaxed so I know he is in great hands.

Information Lucie T. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know about the dog's routine as well as temperament, how he or she walks on the leash, whether or not they have special command words they respond to besides "sit", "stay", "stop" or "no". Some owners train their dogs in different words as there is a lot of "s" sounds in these words and it can get confusing for the dog. (and I agree) also any dietary restrictions or allergies besides the known no-no's (grapes, raising, dairy etc).
A typical day
I like going to parks whenever possible, or dog parks if the dog is properly socialized, this way they can be off the leash and play fetch and or with other dogs. I like to make dogs run and jump and play with wooden sticks even when on a leash. At home I like to chase them around, or throw them a ball or try to teach them tricks and or talk to them and tell them about the day, and just make them feel involved and a part.
