I was raised caring for dogs and have an especially close bond with my parents' current dog, whom I help to care for and train. I'm reliable, punctual, and love to walk. You can expect your dog will be taken out a minimum of three times a day while under my care, with walk lengths adjusted according to the dogs’ exercise needs. It brings me joy to get to see and play with a happy dog.

Lucie took great care of my Great Dane for a long weekend. She took him on walks, field trips & gave him lots of love. Our house was perfectly clean and our dog was happy and calm when we returned.

I have experience dog-sitting in clients' homes, and am lucky to be able to offer boarding for well-trained, sociable dogs since I live with roommates who love animals! When dog-sitting, I make sure to take dogs out for two long (1-2 hr) walks as well as 2 shorter walks, depending on exercise needs. A typical day
I like to engage dogs with a healthy mix of sniffing, exploring, interactive play, and exercise. I like bringing dogs to various types of terrain so they can get their sensory and exercise needs met. I always make sure to brush burs and clumped dirt out of paws and fur. I also love to work with dogs on whatever areas of training the owner is working on with them, to provide your pet with consistency and some nurturing challenges and rewards.

Availability
I’m blessed to say that rover-ing is currently my main source of income and caring for your pet comes first for me. I spend my afternoons walking in nature — some favorite spots are the Presidio and Golden Gate Park — and would be thrilled to bring your dog so they can get some exercise! I have my own transportation and am willing to drive and provide care within the city.
