Pet care experience
Taking care of my landlord's dog last year taught me so much: I groomed the dog, took her on walks, assisted her to overcome fears, and built a wonderful connection with the dog based on trust, reassurance, love, and patience. I will do the same with your pet. I will adjust to your pet's needs and will be kind and gentle in my approach. I give any animal the respect and love they deserve and enjoy playing with them. I will keep your pet safe and will let you know how your dog/cat is doing. I am competent in using body language as I believe that it is the most effective way to show a dog how to respect boundaries and how to guide them on their journey through life.

Lucie is one of our dog Morag’s best friends. Morag is often found snoozing at Lucie’s feet. Morag has lucie’s number and can get her to do all the things that her people need to do; like let her out, get her food, get treats and give belly rubs. Lucy is a caring best friend for our dog Morag.
Lucie looked after my dog in my house for 4 months last year. She was responsible, cautious and provided the most loving care to Kiko. She even got up at 6:30 a.m. each day in the dark mornings of winter to join a group of dog-walkers to get acquainted with other dogs and dog-owners in the neighbourhood. I was worry-free during my time away. Lucie and Kiko became the best of friends. I have no reservation recommending her to look after your pet. You and your pet will be in good hands.

I do not own a car but can ride my bike within Bad Homburg and the area. I am open to learning new things about your animal and am interested in your wishes relating to your pet's care. I will be sensitive to your and your dog's needs as I believe a personalized care plan for your dog or cat is essential to their enjoyment and feeling of security.
A typical day
I can go on a walk around the block or in the park and closer areas. I can play in the park with your pet, try to teach him/her some tricks, but most importantly I will adjust to your pet's mood and what it feels like doing at the moment while keeping it safe at all times. In your home, I will be alert to your pet's needs and feed it at your indicated times.

Availability
At the moment I have a 20-hour-week work schedule. The weekends are more flexible than the days of the week but I could always try to make time for your pet in the late afternoon ( 16:30) or evening ( until 21:00 Uhr) depending on work and family duties.
