Pet care experience
I have accumulated a great amount of experience with dogs, as my family and I have owned and trained dogs since I was about 4 years old. Growing up, we constantly had foster dogs, young and old, in and out of our house that we helped train to be service dogs for physical disabled, PTSD, and visually impaired individuals. I have worked with dogs of seemingly all ages, from raising a puppy only 4 months old, to my 14 year old poodle that passed a few years ago. When I do have an animal in my care I make it my full responsibility because I know how important they are to their owner and that their life is as valuable as ours.

Lucie was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and caring of my one year eight month old golden retriever named Guy and I am so thankful to have connected with her. I have never left Guy alone with a sitter before as he always comes with me on my trips and the moment I met Lucie, I felt confident that Guy was in the best of hands. Lucie sent me photo updates of Guy, played with Guy using his favorite toys and had everything organized and ready, waiting for us on her front porch with Guy as we drove up to a happy tail-wagging pup. Now Guy is back home with me, cuddling on the couch, sleepy and happy from all the play and attention he received from Lucie and her sweet roommates. Thank you so much Lucie!
Lucie made Charlie feel right at home! She sent pictures every day and when I went to pick him up, he was happy as could be. I would recommend her to anyone!

When I stay at a client’s home, I am sure to only stay within the limitations as instructed to me. I will take the dog for walks around their familiar neighborhood, hangout in the yard (if they have one), or take the dog for a hike if they are physically able and the owner has given me the go ahead. Assuring I have the owner’s permission for all the activities involving their animal is the most important!

I would like to know if the dog is comfortable around other animals, if they’re okay off leash, what medications they receive (if any), and if they are food aggressive. I have worked with dogs across all these categories, however I appreciate knowing ahead of time about the animal.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks, go to a nearby park, possibly even a hike! Depending on the animal’s abilities, I am accommodating to their physical needs. I also want to assure that they get to have some fun!
