Pet care experience
I am a social worker by day and love to pet-sit as a side job. I have had pets for most of my life and have a lot of experience with dog-walking, pet-sitting and house-sitting. I have experience with all breeds and sizes of dogs (I definitely have a fondness in my heart for the "bully" breeds!) I am a huge animal lover and currently have a calico cat, Milo, who just turned 13. I volunteered at PAWS for a few years, walking the dogs, playing with the cats and assisting with adoptions, as well as at a no-kill shelter in LA before moving to Chicago. I am reliable, responsible, love being active and have a reliable vehicle. I am the perfect combination of active and couch potato, for pets of all personalities :)

Lucie-Ann is incredible! She’s watched my cats for me twice now and I can’t imagine having anyone else. I was so nervous to leave them alone for the first time but Lucie-Ann gave me so much peace of mind! She sends me updates and pictures every day and I know they were grateful for the one-on-one time with her. I will definitely use her in the future when I am out of town!
Lucie was great! It was great getting regular pictures of my cat each day while on vacation. I knew she was in good hands!
Lucie-Ann was great. Very responsive and easy to work with. She took great care of my cats while I was out of town for a week and sent me better pictures of them than I take on my own. She has a lot of experience with pets and genuinely cares about animals. I would definitely book her again.

Habits, likes and dislikes, anything about how they are on-leash and with other dogs, etc. I love dogs in general, grew up with smaller breeds (chihuahuas and pug mixes), but definitely have a love for the bigger breeds, specifically breeds that are traditionally misunderstood, such as pitbulls. I had a pitbull mix of my own for awhile and she was the most intelligent and caring dog I have ever had.
A typical day
It really depends on the dog! If the dog is more of a homebody then I'll make sure I spend plenty of time with them in the comfort of their home. If they need to get energy out, I love going on long walks to get them outside and possibly to a dog park if they are okay around other dogs and there is one nearby.

I am able to do daily drop-in visits and walks but am not currently open to boarding or having to stay in others' homes unfortunately.
