Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with horses, goats, cows, chickens, and pigs. On top of having 3 dogs and 5 barn-cats, I was the kid always finding animals to take in and care for. (Bless my moms heart-I rarely got told I couldn’t help the animal) I’ve been obsessed with all animals since I can remember, when I was 8 years old I told my grandpa I was gonna be a vet when I grow up. 12 years later, I’m a few months away from getting my RVT degree (Registered Veterinary Technician) along with a bachelors in Pre-Veterinary medicine. Next stop is vet school. Along with being knowledgeable in animals and caretaking - I truly do genuinely care for each and every animal I interact with.

At my home, both my dog and cat are fed by 8am. Having a fenced in yard, I typically play ball or frisbee with my dog in the morning after breakfast. My dog gets let out every hour, to potty or just to play. I base my care for my clients pets solely off of the pets current routine as to make this a stress free and enjoyable experience for your pets, yourselves, and I.

Considering my experience in vetmed, I am comfortable and familiar with all breeds/species. I understand that dog and cat sociability is a spectrum and each pet has different needs/routines/behaviors than others. Helpful tips to ensure I have a positive relationship with your pet is appreciated.
A typical day
Frisbee and hiking are two common activities that are done throughout the week with my dog. I utilize enrichment and puzzle toys throughout the day when inside as well to keep them mental and physically stimulated.

Availability
For the last 2 years I have worked full time at a veterinary hospital as a surgical assistant. In the beginning of November I had major shoulder surgery which is going to require me work from home for the next 12 months. I have a few side jobs I do on a laptop at my own pace, but I am home all day, and I have extremely flexible availability.
