I have lovingly cared for my neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away on vacation over the course of 2 years. I have personally owned cats and a dog. Now I only have one cat that I love and care for. I visit neighbors to play with their dogs and to get my dog fix. I love walking so exercising dogs is a wonderful way to get out and also to greet the neighbors and their dogs. As a kid I grew up with dogs and cats as pets. I used to ride horses and spent much time caring, feeding and cleaning their stalls. I look forward to spending time and caring for your pet(s) and loving them while you are away. I would like to have some idea what the dog likes and whether there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of. If the animals have special needs I would like to be informed of those before sitting.
A typical day
Depending on your surroundings I will walk in your neighborhood or a nearby park or the beach if appropriate. Playing can be fetch for toys, balls or Frisbee. If the dog has special items it likes to play with then I would use them.

Availability
I am currently retired and available to care for your pet. When house sitting after walking your dog(s) and feeding, I return to my home to feed my cat. And then return later in the afternoon to walk, play with and feed your pet. Then there is cuddle time available. Weekends and daily.
