Pet care experience
I adore each and every cat. I have had cats of my own since 2015, and loved on my mom's cat since I was a teenager. One of my cats is a bit of a brute so I have developed a thick skin and understanding of cats that can be a little... testy. Though I love all cats equally, I have a special ability to offer quality care for kitties that can sometimes be difficult for sitters. I absolutely understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies at home when you’re away and what it’s like to experience separation anxiety from your pet. As your sitter I assure that I’ll give your pets the attention and snuggles you wish you could and send plenty of pictures to make it a little easier to enjoy yourself while you’re away!

Lucia took excellent care of our two cats for the weekend, including medication administration. Even our shy cat felt comfortable with her, which is a big deal!
It was our first time leaving the pets with a sitter on Rover so we were a little nervous but Lucia treated them like her own and took such good care of them while we were away! She went above and beyond when they needed extra attention and the pictures and updates were very much appreciated! Will definitely use Lucia again when the pets need sitting in the future!

A typical day
I will play with your pet with their favorite toys, open to going on walks with your dog or cat depending on activity level. If your pet just needs a lap or just to know someone’s there while they hide, I am big on knitting and can peacefully hang out by your pet for however long they need.

**I often work late nights so I’d prefer bookings after 9am** My day job is very flexible and part on-site part remote. This means I can fit drop-in visits easily around my work schedule, and even work remotely from your home so your cat can sit on my computer keyboard for a bit!
