Pet care experience
Ive grown up with German Shepards and different kinds of cats, and I have taken care of all types of cats and dogs. I am used to walking a big dog (my dog Lander) but I have also taken care of smaller dogs like my grandparents dog. I am also really good with cats and would consider myself a cat person first ;) I have two cats at home, one of which takes thyroid medicine regularly so I am also good with keeping up with giving pets medication.

She did an amazing job ! I left for a last minute trip for 5 days and she went above and beyond, my animals loved her and she was super attentive and I swear left the place better then when I left , she constantly kept me updated with photos and texts!
Lucia is a fantastic sitter for our pets. She has taken excellent care of our German shepherd dog and two kitties while we’ve been out of town on several occasions. She’s always been reliable, responsible, and caring with our pets. Our dog is always excited when she sees Lucia, and he gets plenty of attention and exercise while under Lucia’s care. We can’t recommend Lucia highly enough—she is an excellent pet sitter!

At my house, we have a completely fenced backyard and open front yard so my cats stay indoors and my dog is let out to use the bathroom and to eat and hang out but spends most of the day inside hanging out with my family (unless he is going on a walk :)). I also live around a couple different hiking trails and I live hiking with my dog so I would love to go on hikes with pets!! My cats do not like other pets they dont know so I cant offer to have other pets stay at my house but I have a car and I am available to do check-ins on pets or stay in the house overnight.

I think just knowing a little bit about your dogs personality and routine would be super helpful for me so I can try to make sure they do all the normal stuff in their day when they are used to it. Also, of course knowing about any medical issues would be super important.
A typical day
I love hiking with dogs so if your dog is pretty active I would love to try to go on a hike with them or at least a good walk every day that I am watching them. I am happy to do whatever falls into the dogs normal routine if thats playing outside, walking, or just hanging out while you are away :)

Availability
I am currently available to pet/house-sit up until the end of June, then I will be starting another job and pet sitting and house sitting will have to become a less regular-side job, but I will still be available for overnight pet sitting and check-ins, and occasionally dog walks as well :)
