Pet care experience
Had had all sorts of critters since I was growing up, now I got two big doggos myself that I get to work everyday hands on with. Each day is a surprise, teaches me a lot owing the dogs I do. They are reactive and have their special requirements so I’m fully aware of how to handle dogs that need a special touch. I’m at their pace. Handful of experiences with fostering, mainly puppies so far! So I know ENOUGH to know about how difficult watching and caring for a puppy is. I got more than just dogs, I got a couple cats and have always had cats around since I was a kid so I know how to care for them just as much. I know how to care for birds and other little critters like rats due to owning a few myself! I’m the full package for any animal lover out there who needs an extra helping hand!

Luci was great with my two German shepherds. I recently moved and needed help with a small break for the dogs on short notice but Luci was accommodating and even came out for a quick pre meet to make sure everybody was compatible. My dogs aren't the hardest dogs to manage but they sure aren't the easiest either and Luci still was a champ with them! She also followed all the small instructions/details that was texted/talked about.

The home i live in is very structured so that everyone has a chance to succeed. They get a mixture of discipline and praise, balance is key when it comes to dogs. They need stability and a confident leader, I work to give them that everyday so we both are succeeding. I work with them and they work with me. The dogs are always walked on a leash right by my side,never do I allow them to say hi to other dogs while out n about. If it’s my clients dog or cat I’d make sure to keep the structure the client originally placed unless asked to do differently. I like to help people expand their knowledge but not when it’s not wanted so if I’m not asked to help with training or improving a previous trick or skill placed by client then you don’t gotta worry, I’m not gonna be a “know it all” type of person haha.

Please let me know if your dog is a bite risk or has aggressive tendencies towards food, people, toys, etc. I’m willing to work with any dog/animal as long as the owner is honest and open about their behaviors. Obviously one can’t predict what could happen bringing in a sitter/walker, just makes sure I know everything you know about your lil fur baby. Fees may be added to a dog/animal who is a bite risk or has special care needs due to the safety risk of myself. I look forward to meeting each unique pup or other fur babies!
A typical day
Im HUGE on making sure that whatever animal Im taking care of gets the mental and physical stimulation as needed. I prefer to get an understanding of the animals personality to know what activities would work best for the individual/s first.

Availability
I currently work for my sister from M-F from around 8-6-6:30pm. My time is flexible and I can usually move things around if needed. You just need to communicate clearly what you are needing so I can make sure it’s the best fit for you and myself. I’m usually too busy around the times 12-3 to break away but if it’s needed we can work something out. Again I’m huge on communication to make things work and run smoothly for everyone involved.
