Pet care experience
I was a foster parent for Birmingham Humane Society. I helped socialize and rehabilitate animals. I have helped foster 30 dogs and cats in 2 years. Each animal was selected to help give them a chance for a forever home. I have worked at 2 dog daycares ans enjoy being around many at one time. I personally think it's less stressful on your pet to stay where they call home. I pet sit for friends and family when they go out of town. I love taking care of animals because they give us unconditional love. I am also well versed in medical conditions and making sure pets receive meds at scheduled times. I also have experience with deaf and blind pets. Thank you for taking your time to review my profile. I am available for short notice sittings.

Lucenda was a really great last minute dog sitter! She accepted the day before I had to take a last minute day trip and she made time for a meet and greet with my dogs a few hours after she accepted. My dogs immediately liked her so I knew they would be fine in her care. When I got home my dogs were tired from an obviously fun day. She sent lots of pictures during her stay that I was really grateful for.
Lucenda has been caring for my animals for almost 5 years now. Very caring and patient, I have 4 dogs and a cat and they all absolutely love her. She is the only one I trust with them when I go on vacation for a week, I don't worry at all because they are in good hands. She takes them out, trains them, cuddles them and truly cares for them. I highly recommend her.

A typical day
Depending on location and if the pet is high agility. I enjoy play time in the early morning and evenings. If there is a specific park they like to go that is where we go with pictures included.

Availability
It is a normal routine. I work remotely from home so I will usually be available for last minute requests. I was also a ranch hand so feeding larger animals isn't a issue.
