I have been caring for pups since I was 12 years old: first only walking one; then two; then caring for a puppy; then house and pet sitting for a small client base. It slowed down when I went to University, as I moved away from the little business I had built and had lots of studying to do, but I kept taking care of pups when I could. I learned to give the pups as much attention as they seek, tiring them into a light nap if they're up for it, while ensuring they are comfortable and fed. I adapt my treatment of the dog to its behavior, keeping in mind any training that needs to be maintained (off furniture, sit before crossing the street, etc.). Now, I am pursuing a doctorate and can manage my work hours so I thought I would give Rover a shot! I simply love pups and caring for them is a great way to be surrounded by them, enjoy the fun parts (walks and play) without getting tired of them, and get some extra cash!
