Lucas gets a solid 10 thumbs up from Sadie and me. Lucas has taken over responsibility for walking and training my 9-month-old Black Nosed Cur, Sadie while I recover from surgery. He was a hit with Sadie right from the start and for a very sweet but timid rescue pup that had a rough 5 mth start in life, that says everything. Some people just get dogs, don't mind a big wet doggie kiss, and exude a kind and gentle but Alpha presence. Lucas is one of these gifted few. When we first met he was very attentive to my explanation of the training, command, and handling structure I have built with Sadie to help with her rescue recovery and he then followed them well. This made it sound transition for Sadie. I walk Sadie daily in the woods off-leash. After a one-day walk with me along but, Lucus in charge, he continued with off-leash walks with no issues. Lucas has been on time, very communicative, and a pleasure to work with. He also has a well-mannered good-natured dog of his own and it is obvious he has put in the time required to build this bond. I am surprised by how many dog walkers listed on Rover do not have their own dogs. Definitely a plus in my mind. I recommend Lucus highly and as the owner, trainer and best friend to over 5 dogs in my lifetime, I do not take this recommendation lightly.

Lucas ( Lou) has cared for our two young dogs on a regular twice a week basis while I'm at work. He is dependable and conscientious. Plus our dogs seem to love him! They are relaxed and happy when we come home. He has his own dog which we suggested he could bring to help our dogs socialize. That went wonderfully as well, his dog is great with all dogs even our nervous pup. He sends me updates and pictures when I'm at work so I know they are doing well. He responds promptly if you need to communicate with him. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone needing someone to play and exercise their dog.
