I had pet fish, rabbit, porcupine and cat when I grew up. I had a maltese for 4 years up till my divorce 2 years ago. My maltese was a rescue when he came to my home at 9 months old. I used to take him to the leash free time at Rye Oakland beach park and also leash free beach time from the end of Oct. to the end of Apr. I still visit my dog weekly at my ex's. I would love to have a dog of my own now that I live by myself, but I feel it's sad for the dog wait for me at home alone while I work during the day. So pet/house sitting is a perfect alternative for me.

Lu took great care of our dog Cocoa. Cocoa is a senior dog who has a difficult time walking and can’t be left alone for an extended period of time. Lu came to the house and stayed with her for 8 hours. She fed her, took her out, played with her and kept her comfortable. She sent me many updates and photos during the evening.
Lu was great watching our dog! She kept us informed, sent photos, and gave him his meds with no issue. Would absolutely recommend and rebook.
I wish I could give more stars to Lu, who took absolutely wonderful and loving care of Buddy while we were away. I could tell from the many photos and updates she sent us that he was in the absolute best of hands, getting walks and play time and his medicines and lots and lots of love! So wonderful to know Buddy has a loving home-away-from-home with Lu!
We were delighted with Lu's care of our dog, Link, for six days. Her responsiveness and genuine concern for Link's well-being immediately put us at ease. Lu's proactive approach to activities, like running, kept Link happy and engaged throughout his stay. She provided regular updates and it was clear that Link was having a fantastic time under her care. Lu's professionalism and reliability were exceptional, and we highly recommend Lu to anyone seeking a caring and responsible dog sitter.

At my home, I never crate my dog. If I pet sit at your home, I will follow your instructions. I'm very athletic and I love to walk/run with my dog. I also groom my dog extensively everyday. Wash his feet, face, brush his teeth and hair. I don't really rely on pet sitting for income so I'm not sitting multiple pets at one time. Your pet will have my full attention.

The dog's temperament ( is it shy or social, does it like to be cuddled or left alone) ? Any food allergies? How does the dog get along with other dogs or people (for walking purpose) I live in an apartment, if your dog barks a lot, it will not be a good fit. My neighbors will complain.
A typical day
I'm very physically active. I can give the dog a long walk. I like to take the dog to natural settings, such as park or beach. I also like to groom the dog such as brushing hair and washing paws. I like to cuddle with the dog and talk to the dog.

Availability
I'm a public school teacher. I'm done around 2:40 pm everyday, I can stop by for a drop in service for your dog on my way home from work. I live alone, it's convenient for me to host overnight stay or dog sit at your home.
