Pet care experience
Our house was always full of pets and kids, so much fun! I’m a Grandma now, who’s cared for and walked our own (and friend’s) dogs through the years - always enjoyed being around animals, especially dogs and cats.

Loyda and I have been friends (and mutual Pug parents) for more than nine years. I can not say enough about the loving care that she would give any pup in her care. She is a strong advocate of walking your dog along with proper care and nutrition of your pet. When we lived in the same community we often traded overnight stays with our dogs that resulted in a wonderfully bonded pair of pugs!
Loyda is a true animal lover. I have known her for 4 decades and, in that time, she had provided pet sitting and walking services so I have had plenty of time to observe her interactions. She is consistently caring and every animal that I have witnessed her with has clearly been in love with her. I have and would trust Loyda with my fur babies without a second thought.
Loyda is a wonderful, responsible person, and I trust her with all 4 of my dogs, including fosters. Loyda walks over 2 miles every day with her young pug and has trained her to ask to go to her kennel at night, sit, roll over, shake hands and down. This little pug has fans at Home Depot where she does her tricks for all to enjoy!

A typical day
We have lots of toys we play with. My pug Maggie enjoys our daily walks in our fairly undeveloped neighborhood. She enjoys time outside in our fenced yard, and loves playing with other dogs!

Availability
Being retired, I’m available to care for and or walk your special family member! I am used to walking a couple miles/day with my own small dog, who enjoys other dogs, though in the Florida summers I try to keep longer walks to morning and early evening hours as the heat is hard on those fur babies, but shorter Potty walks are fine at any time of the day of course! We enjoy movies together during slow rest periods of the day as well.
